BOXING COLLECTABLES AUSTRALIA (Memorabilia) has been established as a base to purchase some quality rare items from our boxing past not only here in Australia but from other parts of the world. I have been collecting for some time and decided to produce this site as a way of introducing boxing memorabilia to the market that any boxing collector would love to own.
While looking through the site you will locate autographs, posters, tickets, programmes etc but one of my favourite items that I have enjoyed collecting is the original photo, whether that be a press photo or that rare private photo.
That very moment in time that has been frozen from ten or one hundred years ago. The pain of the right hook, the insperation of the fighter trying to lift himself off the canvas or lift those gloves that, after eight rounds, feel like they have lead in them. It is even the photo of the boxer standing with his mates or his family.
Champion Boxer Colin Clarke is unknown to many
but was one of Australia's upcoming boxers
had he not been killed in a car accident. He was
the Lightweight Champion of Australia
in 1955.
GREAT FIGHT DANNY GREEN ALL THE BEST FROM BOXING COLLECTABLES AUSTRALIA.
Australia has a brilliant boxing history that commenced with some of our great early fighters like Frank Slavin and Young Griffo through to Trevor King, Lionel Rose and Johnny Famechon to our current champs Vic Darchinyan and Anthony Mundine. One of our greatest was Les Darcy who died at an early age and who offered so much both as a boxer and a man. Darcy's items as well as many of the worlds greats are worth collecting not only as an investment but for the pure pleasure of owning them.
Whether its the old fading photo of the turn of the century or the more modern autographed colour photo of two boxers clashing in front of thousands, its here for you.
KEEP STOPPING IN THERE ARE ALWAYS NEW ITEMS ALWAYS BEING ADDED TO THIS SITE.
The newest items will be added to the end of each section.
Remember the prices are in Australian Dollars
I hope you enjoy the site.
